Seyran Ohanyan: use of force will be fatal for Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia refrains from bellicose statements, but it does not mean that we are unable to protect our country, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said when commenting on recent warlike statements by Azerbaijani President Ilham Alyiev.

“Today, the Armenian army is more efficient and is able not only to protect, but also to take retaliatory measures against an aggressor,” Minister Ohanyan told journalists on April 24. “Our advantage over Azerbaijan is that we try to resolve all our problems and conflicts peacefully and we are protecting our homeland. Aliyev’s statements have a permanent nature. Baku is attempting to exert a psychological pressure both on us and on the international community, but it will not succeed. Use of force will be fatal for Baku.”
