Statement on Armenian Genocide submitted to PACE

PanARMENIAN.Net - A statement on recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide was submitted during the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

The statement says that recognition of the Armenian Genocide will contribute to normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey and establishment of peace in the region.

The document signed by over 20 PACE members was read out by French parliamentarian Jean-Claude Mignon.
