Bako Sahakyan gives high assessment to The HALO Trust activitiesMay 4, 2010 - 18:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 4, NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with Roly Clark, The HALO Trust British humanitarian mine clearance program manager in Nagorno Karabakh. During the meeting, Mr. Clark presented results of activities carried out in Nagorno Karabakh, with parties discussing NGO’s further works on mine clearance and immobilization of weapons. Bako Sahakyan gave high assessment to HALO Trust activities, expressing readiness on behalf of NKR authorities to assist the program the program, Central Information Department of NKR President’s office reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
