GEORGIAN PRESIDENT PLACED WREATH AT MEMORIAL OF GENOCIDE VICTIMS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today morning Georgian President Edward Shevardnadze placed a wreath at the memorial of the 1915 genocide victims. The head of Georgia planted a tree. Today Shevardnadze met students and the teaching staff of Yerevan State University. The President of Georgia had a lecture on the perspectives of development of political and economic relations between Armenia and Georgia. The leadership of the University awarded Edward Shevardnadze with the academic status of honorary Doctor of YSU. In the afternoon, the guest visited the National gallery and met with the National Assembly leadership.
