Aliyev ignores Medvedev’s invitation to CIS summit

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev disregarded his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev’s invitation to participate in the CIS informal summit on May 8.

“President Aliyev will attend the events dedicated to the 65the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 9. However, his participation in the CIS informal summit is inadmissible for Azerbaijan,” said Azer Gasymov, a spokesman for the President of Azerbaijan.
