World-class karate master, International Traditional Karate Federation technical director, Masao Kawasoe, 8th Dan, is holding karate-do master classes in Yerevan May 17-19. Sensei Masao Kawasoe is visiting Yerevan on the invitation of Armenian Traditional Karate-do Federation president Shahen Petrosyan, 5th Dan. As Shahen Petrosyan emphasized in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenia has been hosting karate do master classes 4 years in a row, with Sensei Masao Kawasoe in charge of Caucasus region. “There are about 400 karate do students in Armenia. This year, our sportsmen were invited to the U.S., Italy and Netherlands to participate in international tournaments,” he noted.
