  Armenian parliament adopts defamation bill May 18, 2010 - 15:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Parliament adopted a bill on defamation, in accordance with public demands and media representatives’ suggestions. The bill stipulates for abolishment of criminalization of insult and defamation, PanARMENIAN.Net parliamentary correspondent reported. The aggrieved party can bring defamation suits against the insulter, to demand indemnification which carries a sentence of fine, disclaimer or public apology.
