Parliamentary elections will be held on proper level, NKR President says![]() May 19, 2010 - 17:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked Wednesday a working meeting to discuss issues related to May 23 parliamentary elections. Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Spartak Tevosyan and head of Central Election Committee Sergey Nasibyan were participating. Mr. Sahakyan noted that election process is a pivotal component of democracy, human rights protection and civil society formation, the basis of sovereignty of a state. He expressed confidence that the forthcoming elections will be held on a proper level and all problems will be tackled immediately, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of Artsakh Republic President. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
