AZERBAIJANI CITIZEN, MEMBER OF A CHECHEN TROOP, KILLED IN ABKHAZIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - As reported by NTV Russian television channel, the corps of 19-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan, resident of Baku city Javid Muftizade, who had fought as member of Chechen illegal armed unit, was found in Kador canyon in Georgia. As reported by Baku ANS television channel, the law-enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan were aware of the location of Muftizade. The mother of the perished stated she had known about the nature of her son's activity. In her words, her son turned into a fanatic after he started visiting Abu-Bekira mosque, which, according to reports of Baku mass media, is remarkable for its Vahhabist orientation. The mosque continues operation at present. "Revival of Islamic Heritage" Kuwaiti organization, concerned with Usama Bin Laden, financed its construction. The organization has Baku official representation, the leaders of which went underground after the events in the U.S.A.
