Deep Purple: don't expect the unexpected

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ian Gillan, the leader of legendary Deep Purple, said that the arrangement of his concert in Yerevan with Armenia’s State Philharmonic Orchestra is under way in Australia.

“I have performed with Saint Petersburg and London Symphony Orchestras, but the concert in Yerevan was the best,” Ian Gillan told a press conference in Yerevan on May 24.

Asked when the group will issue a new CD, the musician said: “Don't expect the unexpected.”

Deep Purple’s concert organized by Vibrographus company and ArmRosGazprom CJSC will take place in Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex on May 25.

The band will arrive in its original composition that has been performing since 1996: Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse, Don Airey.
