As reported by "Arminfo" agency, a charge is not brought against him yet, although already in September a criminal action was brought against him concerning the fact of wittingly false denunciation and special dangerous lese-majesties. Let us note that earlier Saghatelian stated about connection of President Robert Kocharian and Defense Minister Serge Sargsian to organizing the act of terrorism in the Armenian Parliament on October 27, 1999. Besides, the Office of Prosecutor General possesses information, according to which Saghatelian presented a spurious diploma on higher education. Saghatelian was dismissed from the occupied position in April 2000, and he was recently expelled from the system of Internal Affairs for divulging official secrets. The Office of Prosecutor General refused to specify whether anyone else was detained in connection with this case.
