Darchinyan’s goal is to win many titles, coach says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian-born Vic Darchinyan will fight his next bout vs. Rafael Marquez on August 21, 2010.

Darchinyan (35-2-1, 27 KOs) won a clash of southpaws for the vacant IBO title by 12-round unanimous decision over Eric Barcelona (51-8-4, 19 KOs).

“Vic was fighting with a thumb injury but did not tell anything to the doctors, as he wanted this clash,” Darchinyan’s coach Vazgen Badalyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“Vic is a perfect boxer and goal is to win many titles,” Badalyan said.
