MILITARY ACTIONS IN ABKHAZIA WILL NOT AFFECT GEORGIA PRESIDENT'S FORTHCOMING VISIT TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The military operations in Abkhazia will not affect the forthcoming visit of Georgia's leader Edward Shevarnadze to Armenia October 23-24. The council of Georgia's embassy in Armenia Georgy Terzadze has informed about that the «Arminfo» agency correspondent. According to him, at this stage the visit preparation is going on, the sides are engaged in the co-ordination of documents to be signed during the visit. Georgian diplomat has refused to say anything about the list of documents, as it has not been coordinated yet. Nevertheless, it is known that Treaty on friendship and cooperation between two countries as well as a joint communiqué on talk results will be signed by Armenia's president Robert Kocharyan and Georgia's president Edward Shevarnadze. As it is known the Treaty on friendship and cooperation was signed in 1995. Present document is in essence the adopted version of the previous treaty.
