Eastern Partnership not in charge of conflict settlementMay 29, 2010 - 17:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Settlement of conflicts is not included in EU Eastern Partnership initiative program, Plenipotentiary of Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Eastern Partnership Andrzej Cieszkowski stated. As he told a news conference in Warsaw, “We’re not responsible for Armenia-Azerbaijan issue, Transdniester conflict or South Ossetia and Abkhazia problems.” As he noted, Eastern Partnership aims at expansion of European values at EU states. “Our immediate goals are conclusion of associate agreement, visa regime facilitation for 6 eastern states, as well as their economic integration,” Andrzej Cieszkowski concluded. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
