Turkey to lose more, severing relations with Israel

PanARMENIAN.Net - One should not be a Solomon to understand that the incident at Gaza shores was a mere provocation, according to Alexander Tsinker, President of ICES, director of East European States & CIS Institute.

“I do not rule out that there were some naïve human right advocates on this terror flotilla (as I can’t name it a peace flotilla). But majority of those aboard were ready for resistance and knew that there will be loses. Moreover, I have no doubt that they deliberately sent to slaughter those, who believed that Gaza residents are starving,” Tsinker said.

“Israel did what it had to do. And it’s time to show Turkey and the entire international community that Israel is not going to turn the other cheek and swallow offences. Turkey will lose much more, severing relations with the Jewish State. This incident will not have catastrophic consequences for Israel. The worst what can happen is adoption of some anti-Israeli resolution and frustration of talks with Palestine. Some unfriendly countries may recall their ambassadors. But the most important thing is to understand that condemnation of Israel will be the victory of terror over all moral and juridical norms,” he concluded.
