Austria willing to assist Armenia’s European integration

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed Austrian Ambassador to Armenia Michael Postl handed his credentials to RA President Serzh Sargsyan.

During the meeting, Armenian President emphasized the importance of bilateral collaboration development, expressing hope for ambassador’s further contribution.

The Ambassador, in turn, noted that the oncoming visit of Austrian Foreign Minister to Armenia will signal the launch of new economic and cultural programs.

The parties went on to exchange views on RA-Turkey normalization and Karabakh conflict settlement. At that, President Sargsyan welcomed Austria’s well balanced position on Karabakh issue.

Austrian diplomat confirmed Vienna’s willingness to assist Armenia’s European integration, as well as resolution of Karabakh conflict and reconciliation with Turkey.
