NKR President, French MPs discuss Karabakh conflict![]() June 10, 2010 - 11:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 9, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received a delegation of French National Assembly members to discuss issues related to bilateral ties, the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and domestic life of Artsakh. The meeting was also attended by chairman of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan and other officials. Mr. Sahakyan emphasized that expanding cooperation with France is among the pivotal trends of the republic’s foreign policy. He also rated high the role of France in the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement process and maintenance of stability in the region. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
