Ohanyan, Gates meet in BrusselsJune 12, 2010 - 12:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan took part in the Defense Ministerial Meetings in Brussels on June 10-11. The Armenian Minister presented Armenia’s position on the activities of international peacekeeping missions. Minister Ohanyan also met with U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Georgian Defense Minister Bachana Akhalaia to discuss security issues, reported the press office of the RA Ministry of Defense. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
