As RA National Statistical Service reported, the salary in government-financed organizations comprised AMD 84 199, increasing by 4,3%. Average monthly salary in private organizations comprised AMD 131 323, registering a growth of 8,4%. In May 2010, average monthly salary index fell by 0,5%, compared with April 2010 results. Unemployment rate in Armenia grew by 1,2% in January –May 2010 to comprise 84 900, compared with last year’s results. 0,4% unemployment rate growth was observed in May 2010, compared with April results. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision.
