OSCE MG presidential statement on Karabakh 20 years late

PanARMENIAN.Net - The statement issued by the Presidents of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair countries is 20 years late, stated Marat Hakobyan, head of Analitika.at.ua portal.

“20 years ago, when Karabakh was an enclave, a referendum should have been held on its status. . Now, Karabakh is a country, which borders not only on Armenia but on Iran as well. Now, Karabakh does not need peacekeepers, who can only spread discord in relations with neighboring Iran. Now, Karabakh is a country which managed to secure land communication with Armenia and defends its border with Azerbaijan,” he told PanARMENIAN.Net

“The OSCE Minsk Group should offer variants of peaceful co-existence of the republics of Artsakh and Azerbaijan instead of attempting to introduce an outdated settlement formula which can only cause new regional stresses,” Hakobyan said.
