Budget incomes totaled AMD 299.1bln in Armenia in January-May 2010June 29, 2010 - 16:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Incomes of the state budget totaled AMD 299.1bln in Armenia in January-May 2010, while expenditures amounted to AMD 309.9bln, ensuring the fulfillment of government's program for the first half of 2010 by 90.2% and 75.4% respectively. Meanwhile, indices of the annual program of the state budget were fulfilled by 41.2% and 36.3% respectively, the press service of the RA Ministry of Finance reported. 22.2% growth was recorded in incomes as compared with the same period of last year. Besides, tax payments, state duties and compulsory social payments increased by 22.8% (AMD 51.9bln), while other incomes grew by 26.3% or AMD 3.7bln. At the same time, official grants reduced by 46.9% or AMD 1.2bln. Besides, expenditures at the amount of AMD 309.9bln were made from the Armenian state budget in January-May 2010, comprising 75.4% of the program for the first half of 2010. Specifically, current expenses totaled AMD 284.7bln, while operations related to non-financial assets amounted to 25.2bln. Expenditures at the amount of 4.6bln were made from non-budgetary funds of state enterprises during the reporting period. Budget expenditures grew by 11% or AMD 30.7bln in January-May 2010 as compared with the same period of last year. The growth is basically conditioned by expenditures for non-financial assets, grants, state debt servicing, as well as reduction in receipts from alienation of non-financial assets. During the reporting period, Armenia's state budget was fulfilled with AMD 10.8bln deficit against 79.3bln foreseen for the first half of 2010 and 34.5bln in January-May 2009.
