Armenian delegation presented two proposals referring to Euronest activity

PanARMENIAN.Net - The top issue of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly’s bureau meeting was Belarus’ membership, member of the Republican Party of Armenia, MP Artak Zakaryan said.

As he told a June 30 news conference, during the meeting the Armenian delegation has presented two proposals referring to Euronest activity.

“First, the delegation suggested that the decisions be adopted not by majority but by consensus. Second proposal was that the topic of discussion should be prevention of future conflicts but not the ways to settle the existing ones,” he said, adding that neither of proposals was rejected.

As to Euronest activity, he noted that it was decided to leave Belarus’ membership issue open, with the agenda to be determined during the bureau’s meeting in autumn.
