FAAE: Clinton will negotiate OSCE MG presidential statement implementationJuly 1, 2010 - 16:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey managed to persuade U.S. and Russia to take a decision on return of liberated territories to Azerbaijan, chairman of the Federation of Armenian Associations of Europe (FAAE) said in a statement. “Moreover, judging by the positive assessment given by the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, we can conclude that Armenia is ready to cede the liberated territories,” Ashot Grigoryan said. As to the forthcoming visit of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he said she will focus on two tasks: to force for implementation of provisions of the presidential statement and to reanimate the Armenian-Turkish Protocols. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
