WITHIN NEXT FEW DAYS ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT TO RECEIVE RUSSIAN ATOMIC FUEL FOR CHARGING

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the next 10 days a new consignment of Russian atomic fuel will be delivered to Armenia to recharge the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), which has ceased operation since April 4 for preventive repair. The press service of the ministry of energy of Armenia told "Arminfo" agency. According to the source, 30 days will be spent to charge the ANPP with the new fuel, after which the station, which generates over 40% of the electric power of Armenia, is planned to be connected to the energy system of the country in July. The fuel is bought by "UES of Russia" company, to whose financial management the ANPP is planned to be conveyed.
