Yerevan hosts Donor Strategies in Armenia discussion

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the initiative of Civilitas Foundation, Yerevan hosts Donor Strategies in Armenia discussion aiming to address problems of donor organizations and civil society in the republic.

In his remarks, Mr. Heino van Houwelingen, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Netherlands, noted that the activity of Dutch donor organizations in Armenia proceeds from the Netherlands' interests.

For his part, Mr. Timothy Straight, Honorary Consul of Norway and Finland in Armenia, said that Scandinavian countries want to see a stable and prosperous South Caucasus.

“That is why our donor organizations contribute to development of civil society and establishment of stability throughout the region,” he said.
