Armenian sambo wrestlers win International TournamentJuly 19, 2010 - 13:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - International Youth Sambo Tournament to honor Soviet Union Hero, pilot Nelson Stepanyan, was completed in Yerevan. The tournament hosted 143 sportsmen from Armenia, NKR, Russia and Georgia. The Armenian team won the tournament with the total of 30 medals, including 7gold, 5 silver and 18 bronze. Russian team with 12 medals became a runner up, followed by Georgia (9 medals). The tournament was organized by RA Sambo Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo representation in Armenia, in association with RA National Olympic Committee.
