PanARMENIAN.Net - Refugees right of return should in the first place apply to Azerbaijan’s Armenians, according to the head of Azerbaijan’s Armenians Assembly NGO, Grigori Ayvazyan.

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, Armenian community greatly contributed to the development of Azerbaijan and is entitled to compensation of damages to property and moral damages. “We believe ourselves to be Azeri citizens, entitled to return to our homes. OSCE MG Co-Chairs’ June 26 statement in Muskoka clearly consolidates our rights,” the head of the NGO emphasized.

Grigori Ayvazyan estimated the damage to property of Azerbaijan’s Armenians at USD 70 billion.
