Emil Gabrielyan died at the age of 79 in USA. Was a medical doctor, pharmacologist, academician, member of International Academy of Sciences, International Academy of Informatization, president of the Armenian Pharmacologists Society, author of more than 300 scientific articles and monographs. Awarded with the order of the “Knight of the White Cross” and "Knight of Humanity" in 1991 by The International Confederation of White Cross. Was a laureate of the Kalinga International Prize (UNESCO).
