RA Ministry of Culture to monitor Saint Gevorg of Mughni Church reconstructionJuly 27, 2010 - 16:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 26, National Agency for Preservation of Georgia’s Cultural Heritage gave written notice to RA Ministry of Culture on preliminary studies being conducted at Saint Gevorg of Mughni Church to draw up church reconstruction project. As the Agency CEO Zurab Siminoshvili reported, an experienced restorer, architect Shalva Melikidze is in charge of reconstruction works. On August 5, a delegation led by RA deputy Minister of Culture Arev Samuelyan will leave on a working visit to Tbilisi to discuss church restoration plans.
