1.3% growth recorded in amount of Armenian banks’ loans in second quarter of 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The total amount of loans, deposits, factoring and leasing provided by Armenia’s banks to residents made AMD 800.7bln as of the end of June 2010 that is 1.3% higher as compared with the first quarter of 2010, according to the quarterly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.

Meanwhile, major part of the provided loans deposits, factoring and leasing was in the field of trade – AMD 164.7bln (2.3% growth), which are followed by industry – AMD 152.1bln (-1.8%), consumer loans - AMD 143.8bln (0.8%), mortgage loans - AMD 83.5bln (-.1.9%), construction - AMD 58.8bln (2.3%), agriculture – AMD 48.7bln (1.3%), financial sector – AMD 45.1bln (-4.9%), transport and communication field – AMD 22.2bln (24.4% growth). Besides, 6.1% (AMD 81.8bln) growth was recorded in other fields.
