  Ashot Melkonyan: NKR can recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity August 10, 2010 - 14:40 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Recognition of the territorial integrity of a country doesn’t imply recognition of the country’s borders, said Ashot Melkonyan, director of the Institute of History at the RA National Academy of Sciences. “The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan can be recognized without Nagorno Karabakh as a part of it,” the historian said. “So, NKR can recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.”   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
