"NO PROGRESS IN ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN AFTER JOINING CE," - PACE President asserts

PanARMENIAN.Net - There is no noticeable progress in Armenia and Azerbaijan after joining the Council of Europe. As reported by "Arka" agency, President of CE Parliamentary Assembly Lord Russell-Johnston stated this on his arrival at Yerevan "Zvartnots" airport. He did not substantiate his view, telling it was his "general impression". Lord Russell-Johnston also stressed there was no progress in the Karabakh conflict settlement, too. Speaking about CE statement on NKR local government bodies elections being illegitimate, PACE President noted the statement rested on internationally recognized reality.
