Nalbandian crashes Ljubicic in Western & Southern Financial Group Masters first round

PanARMENIAN.Net - David Nalbandian proved too strong for Croat Ivan Ljubicic in the first round of Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati. The Argentine claimed his 12th win from his last 13 matches.

As tennistalk.com reported, Nalbandian enjoyed a similarly routine performance against Ljubicic. A pair of breaks were exchanged early in the first set, but Nalbandian had things in cruise control the rest of the way. The 37th-ranked Argentine did not face another break point and he broke serve at 6-5 to finish off the opening frame of play in style.
