Stepan Grigoryan: Russia, more so than CSTO, has contributed to Armenia’s safety provision![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia, more so than CSTO, has contributed to Armenia’s safety provision, according to political expert Stepan Grigoryan. “There’s no point for Armenia to link the future of its safety specifically with the Organization,” the Armenian expert told a news conference in Yerevan. “NATO is, without a doubt, more influential, however CSTO is the only way for the country at present, NATO having no immediate plans of accepting South Caucasus countries among its ranks,” Stepan Grigoryan concluded. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
