Ameriabank trade financing agreements’ number grows twice over January –August 2010August 18, 2010 - 18:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In January –August 2010, the number of Ameriabank trade financing agreements grew twice; bank portfolio increased by 1,2 times to comprise AMD 9,6 billion. Starting 2009, Ameriabank has been actively developing commercial and crediting financing tools. Commercial-crediting guarantees provided by IFC (USD 10 million), EBRD (USD 2 million) as well as USD 10 million crediting from various foreign banks and financial organizations contributed to the process, allowing to increase crediting for foreign commercial transactions. In the second quarter of 2010, Ameriabank guarantees’ portfolio increased by 1,6 times compared with 2009, to comprise AMD 6,7 billion. Crediting portfolio has shown a record growth, increasing by 56 times to gross AMD 2,4 billion.
