Weightlifter Gor Minasyan wins Singapore Olympic Games silver

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian weightlifter Gor Minasyan won silver at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

In the snatch and clean & jerk, Minasyan lifted 350 kg (1kg less than the winner, Iran’s Alireza Kazeminejad). Egyptian Hassan Mohammed finished third.

Judo wrestler David Ghazaryan, boxer Hrair Matevosyan and rower Edgar Babayan will enter competition on August 21.
