Armenian government approves Clean Motherland program

PanARMENIAN.Net - At RA governmental sitting, headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Clean Motherland national program was approved.

The program aims at improving legislative field in order to more effectively employ the means for environmental cleansing and protection, increasing awareness of environmental issues.

RA ministries and institutions were instructed to submit offers on their participation in program events, as well as attraction of financial means.

“The issue of clean environment is gaining urgency in Armenia,” Tigran Sargsyan emphasized, urging educational institutions, local authorities and public organizations to contribute to the program.
