Artsakh President visits central committee of Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in Near EastAugust 23, 2010 - 11:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 21, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the central committee of the Union of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East located in Beirut, where he met with members of the committee headed by Soghomon Kilaghbian. President Sahakyan appreciated the role of the church for preservation of Armenian national identity in Diaspora, hailing the activity of Haykazian University as one of the leading Armenian higher educational establishments. He also expressed gratitude to the Armenian Evangelical Church for implementation of different projects in Artsakh, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.
