Every honest person should understand that an attempt to turn a blind eye to the crime is equal to the crime itself. Armenian Genocide is an undeniable fact, G.S. Skovoroda Philosophy Institute director, editor-in-chief of Philosophic Thought magazine, member of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences Miroslav Popovich stated. As he noted, urgent requests of the public can help solve the issue of Ukraine’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide. “It’s an outrage that the recognition of this major tragedy can be affected by political calculations. Were the Armenian Genocide timely condemned, the humanity could have avoided many terrible wars in the 20th century,” Popovich stressed. “Armenia and the Armenian nation must be recognized as Genocide victims,” analitika.at.ua cited him as saying.
