"ARMENTEL" MADE FINAL DECISION ON NEW TARIFF POLICY

PanARMENIAN.Net - "ArmenTel" Company has made final decision on implementing new tariff policy. According to the decision announced today, payment by minute would by introduced in Armenia beginning with September 1. Every user of "ArmenTel" telephone will be given an opportunity to speak 120 minutes a month for free. Tariff for a minute beyond this limit will make 4 drams. The company notes the use of payment by minute will let to regulate the network operation and reduce the difference between the costs for intra-city and long distance telephone calls. The Direction of the company says 68% of automatic telephone systems in Yerevan and 15% in the regions of the Republic have became digital. 88 million dollars were spent on it in total.
