Mikheil Saakashvili: representative of any ethnic group can become a President of Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net - People of all nationalities should have a chance to receive education and advance their careers in Georgia, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili stated.

“Representative of any ethnic group can become a President of Georgia,” the President noted during the meeting with graduates of Armenian and Azeri schools in Georgia, citing Georgian Minister of Education, Dmitry Shashkin as an example.

In 2010, President Saakashvili initiated a special program for graduates of non-Georgian schools, enabling over 300 Armenian and Azeri students to enter the universities, RosBalt reported.
