For acts of personal bravery and courage shown in the defense of the Motherland, seven individuals, among them six posthumous, were awarded with Medals of Valor. For successful performance of combat missions, raising combat readiness of the forces as well as courage shown defending state borders, 392 individuals, among them 16 posthumous, were awarded with the Distinguished Service medal. For major contributions to the Artsakh Republic one person was awarded with the Mesrop Mashtots Order, three individuals, one of them posthumous, were awarded with the Medal of Gratitude, Central Information Department at NKR President’s Office reported.
