Agriculture Ministry reported 13.1% drop in agricultural production, with fruit and vegetable prices growing 3 times at the food market,” he stated. Head of the parliamentary committee on social issues, Republican Party of Armenia member Hakob Hakobyan noted, for his part, that inflation cannot be foretold, being dependant on many factors. “Armenia has to provide itself with food reserves to be safe against sharp fluctuations,” he said.
