Antimonopoly body of Armenia to address situation at buckwheat market

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Cooperation (SCPEC) Artak Shaboyan said that the SCPEC will address the situation at the buckwheat market.

“Based on media reports, the SCPEC has launched monitoring of import and sales markets,” Shaboyan told a briefing on August 6.

The SCPEC cooperates with the RA State Revenue Committee to reveal violations of fair competition among enterprises.

“We have requested data on importers to find out reasons behind the high prices for buckwheat. Currently, we are waiting for results,” Shaboyan said.
