Hrayr Karapetyan: not all the orders of commanders can be questionedSeptember 7, 2010 - 17:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Army needs discipline, as well as service regulations to be controlled by law, said Hrayr Karapetyan, the chairman of the Armenian parliamentary committee on defense, internal force and national security issues. “Commanders’ arbitrariness and “laws of the underworld” should be exterminated from the army. However, not all the orders of commanders can be questioned, in case discipline is to be preserved,” Karapetyan noted at parliamentary hearings on government-introduced bill on Disciplinary Regulations of Armenian Armed Forces.
Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
