Armenian women’s team ties 6th round vs. Russia at World Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian women’s team tied the 6th round vs. Russia at the World Chess Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Elina Danielyan and Lilit Galoyan won their games against Natalya Pogonina and Anastasia Savina respectively while Lilit Mkrtchyan and Nelly Aghinyan suffered defeat by Olga Girya and Anastasia Bodnaruk.

In the 7th round, Armenia will rival the United States, the pairs being as follows: Elina Danielyan - Irina Krush Lilit Mkrtchyan - Anna Zatonskih Lilit Galoyan - Tatev Abrahamyan Nelly Aghinyan - Kamile Baginskaite
