Azerbaijan’s representative too “busy” to participate in CIS Financial Control Bodies sessionSeptember 29, 2010 - 16:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 10th session of heads of the Financial Control Bodies of the CIS member-states, entitled: “Role of Superior Control Bodies in Management of Socio-Economic Processes,” kicked off in Yerevan. “The theme and content of the session is actual in the context of management of current social and economic processes and challenges. Superior control bodies play a significant role in it. Control over usage of public resources is an important mechanism for increasing the efficiency of the institution of state power, consequently, the level of society’s satisfaction, its respect and trust towards the state as a whole,” reads the welcoming speech of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan addressed to the session participants. The session brought together heads of superior financial control bodies of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. However, the head of the Azerbaijani control chamber has not arrived in Yerevan, pleading his being busy.
