LA to host Water is Life telethon Nov. 25September 30, 2010 - 13:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 13th telethon organized by Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will take place in Los Angeles, California, U.S., on November 25, 2010 under the motto Water is Life. As the Fund’s Executives Director, Ara Vardanyan, told reporters on September 30, the telethon will be on air of Public Television of Armenia, Shant and Armenia TV Channels. The funds raised will be spent for improvement of water-supply system in Artsakh. The general sponsor of the event is VivaCell-MTS which will allocate AMD 163 million for its organization. Vardanyan also informed that from September 30 to December 31 all those wishing to take part in fund raising can send an SMS message to 8 000 number, the cost of the message being AMD 500.
