The AKP member characterized the actions of Devlet Bahceli and his team-mates, who prayed namaz in Ani cathedral, as reprehensible. “Who was the Friday’s namaz aimed against? Was it directed against Armenians or a mass in Sumela Monastery? Who was chosen as a target – 1,5-million Armenia or 3-million Armenian Diaspora? You call Turkey a great nation, however, seeing a small country like Armenia as your enemy. The situation is like a fight between wrestlers of different weight categories,” SonDakika agency cited Elitas as saying.
