Devlet Bahceli’s actions belittle greatness of Turkish state, AKP member believes

PanARMENIAN.Net - Devlet Bahceli’s actions belittled greatness of the Turkish state, according to the member of Justice and Development Party (AKP) Mustafa Elitas. The AKP member characterized the actions of Devlet Bahceli and his team-mates, who prayed namaz in Ani cathedral, as reprehensible.

“Who was the Friday’s namaz aimed against? Was it directed against Armenians or a mass in Sumela Monastery? Who was chosen as a target – 1,5-million Armenia or 3-million Armenian Diaspora? You call Turkey a great nation, however, seeing a small country like Armenia as your enemy. The situation is like a fight between wrestlers of different weight categories,” SonDakika agency cited Elitas as saying.
