48 large companies avoided compulsory audit in ArmeniaOctober 5, 2010 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As per the RA Law on Accounting, large companies with proceeds above AMD 1bln in 2009 should undergo a compulsory audit and publish their financial reports. As a result of studies by the RA Ministry of Finance, it was found out that a range of enterprises, including Armenia’s large taxpayers – Mikmetal, Gor Petrol Service, Arsoil, etc – have not undergone an audit and have not published their financial reports, the Ministry’s press service reported. The complete list of 48 companies is posted on the Ministry’s website. Works on clarification of the list of negligent companies are still under way.
